Strom Thurmond dies and sodomy laws are reversed in the same day. Of all the nights to fall asleep before The Daily Show came on, I had to choose last night.

Oh, to hell with it, anyway - Friday Five:

1. How are you planning to spend the summer?

Committing lots and lots of clean, wholesome, LEGAL acts of sodomy!

2. What was your first summer job?

When I was 16, I had a summer job working in a video store at the local strip mall. A girl I went to high school with was my manager, and she was obsessed with racing and her British boyfriend. She was a cool boss to have, as she let me shelve porn when I was clearly too young to be looking at images of SODOMY!

I didn't really care much for it, though - it was all straight porn with fat old men and frizzy blondes with David Lee Roth hair and implausable breasts. I did watch the superhero costume epic "Bedman and Throbbin", however. I was oddly drawn to the tragic character of Pussywoman, and her love/hate/DP relationship with Bedman (and Throbbin, and The Jokester...)

3. If you could go anywhere this summer, where would you go?

Sodomy Island?

4. What was your worst vacation ever?

That one time when there was not enough sodomy. And for some reason, I think Strom Thurmond was somehow involved.

5. What was your best vacation ever?

I think this is where I make a reference re: going on a roadtrip down the Hershey Highway, right? Feh. I have to go, now - I suddenly have the urge go listen to some Pogues now.
