THE GREAT GADFLY:

Vote Baby Vote

Bastardized from a recent e-mail:

Did you know that in the last presidential election, 2 out of every 3 seniors aged 65 - 74 voted?

If the same percentage of 18 - 24 year olds voted, they would control the election.

Concerned about war? The economy? Education? Civil rights? Crime? Health care? Violence? Free speech?

Let your representatives know how you feel by going out to the polls and voting.

If you're not yet of voting age, you can still make your voice count. Write, email, fax or call your representatives and tell them what you think, and how you would vote if you could. Start a petition about an issue you care about, or volunteer for a campaign you believe in. You can also get information about efforts to lower the voting age to 16 or 17 in certain states here.
